About

A fence company's product, started in Utah.

Fringe Fence was started by Dan Nelson with a straightforward idea: a privacy fence should look as considered as the house it surrounds, and the people who install it should have a product worth putting their name on.

The company

Where it started.

Fringe Fence began in Utah, where new neighborhoods go up fast and the fence around them is usually the last thing anyone thinks about. The panel system was developed to change that: a 72-inch blow-molded HDPE panel with wide horizontal boards, 4×4 aluminum posts, and gates that match, installed the same way every time.

FRINGE FENCE: ADD FOUNDING STORY How the product came about, when the first installations went in, and what Dan learned along the way.

Today the company's focus is building a dealer network: established fence companies who sell and install Fringe Fence in their own markets, with the company behind them on product and support.

How we work

Three things we hold to.

01

The product comes first

A fence that looks right from the street and from the back porch, on the day it's installed and years later. Everything else follows from that.

02

Dealers are partners

The installers who carry Fringe Fence are the company's public face. We choose them carefully and we answer the phone when they call.

03

Straight answers

On pricing, on lead times, on what the product can and can't do. A dealer program only works if both sides can plan around it.
